- Villiam Petersen Gear Factory Horsens Ltd. (VP) takes the protection of personal data seriously and wants to be a reliable and secure partner for our customers and collaborators.
- Therefore, VP has developed this privacy policy to inform you about how VP handles the personal information we collect.
- This privacy policy applies when we are data controllers, meaning when we handle cases for customers, when hiring new employees, and during marketing activities.
When do we collect your data:

- We use your data to fulfill a contract that VP is a part of, or to respond to your inquiry.

- VP would like to remind you that an application should not contain sensitive personal information, such as information about sexuality, union membership, race, religion, philosophical beliefs, and political beliefs.
The registered personal data is used for:
- VP only collects and registers personal data for the following purposes:
- Fulfillment of a contract entered into with VP

- Recruitment

Deletion:
- VP ensures that personal data that is no longer necessary or relevant for the purposes stated in point 4 is continuously deleted.
- You can request for your personal data to be deleted at any time, unless VP is entitled to retain your personal data without your consent or the information is necessary for VP to fulfill the contract or request.
- In connection with recruitment, your information will be stored for a maximum of 6 months, or until the recruitment process is completed, after which it will be permanently deleted.
Consent:
- VP does not obtain your consent for the purposes stated in point 4, as the company is required to process your ordinary personal information in order to fulfill a contract with you or respond to your inquiry or request, and as part of a recruitment process.
- In the event that your personal data is requested for purposes other than those stated in point 4, you will be asked for your consent before the processing begins.
Disclosure:
- We only disclose your personal information to external actors if it is necessary for us to fulfill our contract with you or if it is required by law.
- We use data processors (IT suppliers, financial management programs, etc.) to provide the best possible service to our customers.
Safety:
- VP has internal rules for handling your personal data. Guidelines that, along with the company's other security measures, ensure that your personal data is protected and secured against destruction, loss, alteration, unauthorized disclosure, or access.
Control and Update:
- VP ensures ongoing control of registered personal data and updates it when changes occur.
- You can at any time inform us if there are changes to your personal data, especially your contact information. You can contact the company's administration for this purpose.
- VP has also adopted internal guidelines for control and updating of personal data.
You have the right to:
- You always have the right to access the personal data that the company has registered about you, including being informed of what data we store about you, where it was collected from, and what we use it for. If you wish, you can also be informed of how long we store your personal data, who stores it and where, and who we share it with if we share it.
- In certain cases, there may be information that the company does not disclose. This may be the case when the privacy protection of other individuals weighs heavier, or out of consideration for intellectual property rights and trade secrets.
- If the company has registered personal data about you and you become aware that the registered data is not correct or accurate, you are entitled to request that the incorrect data be deleted and the inaccurate data be corrected.
- You must provide information about the data that you believe to be inaccurate or incorrect, after which VP will handle the matter.
- There may be cases where you do not agree that we process your personal data. In these cases, you can request that VP delete the relevant data. You can also do this if you believe that VP is processing data in violation of the law, the processing is no longer necessary, or if you have withdrawn your consent to the processing.
- VP will then assess whether there is a basis for complying with the request to delete or correct personal data. If there is a basis for deleting or correcting, this will be done as soon as possible.
- You can object to VP's processing of your personal data at any time, or to VP disclosing your data.
- If you wish to object, you can contact VP and state which processing you object to and why.
- If your objection is justified, VP will stop processing your personal data and will either delete or return it to you.
- You have the right to receive the personal data that you have provided to VP, or the data that we have obtained from others based on your acceptance of this. If you are a party to a contract with VP, you can also receive your personal data, but we have the right to process the personal data that is necessary to fulfill the agreement with you.
- You are also entitled to transfer your personal data to another service provider, if you wish, and if it is compatible with the contract entered into.
- In cases where the company must return or disclose personal data, it will be delivered in a commonly used format.
- The company strives to respond to inquiries as quickly as possible and no later than one month from the receipt of the objection, but there may be periods of high workload that may result in longer processing times. In such cases, you will be informed.
